Following a competitive tender process, Linstone HA awarded us a contract for the replacement of existing windows, external doors and sidescreens with new double glazed upvc windows.

Works were carried out in various locations in Renfrewshire, including Johnstone, Linwood and Paisley.

Additional works on the contract comprised the replacement of existing rooflights to three-storey terraced houses at Falcon Road and Finch Place, Johnstone, and the replacement of flat entrance doors to common close flatted properties.

We successfully overcame a number of challenges relating to minimising disruption, including access to deck areas. Everwarm provided an internal fit-out approach meaning no work was done externally. We also provided a bespoke health and safety solution including crash decks above communal entrances. Heras fencing was erected to ground floor external areas to safeguard from any debris, making access safe for all at each point, including decking at windows and doors.

In appreciation of the multiple vulnerable residents on the scheme, we worked closely with Linstone HA from the outset to understand additional resident needs. Our surveyors and installer teams completed a pre-start induction on local resident demographic and were reminded of our Code of Conduct – focused on providing a considerate and appropriate service. This included accompanied visits, allowing longer appointments and providing information in alternative formats.
