University of Strathclyde

Following an open tender procedure, we supplied, installed and commissioned a number of 7kW and 22kW electric vehicle charging points (EVCP) units on behalf of Strathclyde University.

To minimise disruption on site, we arranged just-in-time deliveries, operating a traffic management plan to take account of our site compound set-up. Working closely with on-site building management teams before works began, we scheduled noisy works at times most convenient to the building’s users.

All engineers were allocated from our in-house pool. As standard for our electrical engineers, each was NICEIC-accredited and trained by the manufacturer, resulting in an excellent adherence to quality standards and zero defects at handover. Following completion, we provided maintenance services to the university, ensuring only highly-trained engineers attended where required. In most cases, our back-office facilities, combined with the intelligence of the units, allow for remote issue resolution – maximising unit up-time.
