Over an initial three-month period, Everwarm worked in partnership with Almond Housing Association to deliver a contract focused on boiler replacements to 90 gas-heated homes across Livingston.

Following on from the success of this initial phase, the Association awarded Everwarm a second phase, allowing a further 204 properties to benefit from heating improvements. This has now been extended to allow for the inclusion of an additional 60 properties.

The full scope of works includes:

• Installation of combi and system boilers (Ideal logic)
• Removal of hot/cold water cylinders
• Re-coring of walls for blow offs
• Installation of 1 channel programme
• Installation of fireboard at flue
• Installation of Pendoc piping
• Installation of lockshield radiator valves for bypass radiators

As part of the contract, we also carried out detailed surveys, providing the association with an EPC at both pre and post installation stage. Our in-depth survey process allowed us to identify whether a combi or system boiler was required. (Where there is an existing unvented cylinder, we fit a system boiler. If this is not present, a combi boiler is fitted.)

Almond Housing Association are delighted with the standard of works, customer care provided and the quality of site and senior management communication to date. As a direct result of this contract and the positive relationship we’ve built with Almond Housing Association, they’ve now requested that we carry out full system installs to three 3-storey town houses.
