Loreburn Housing Association

Following a competitive tender process, Everwarm successfully secured a contract with Loreburn Housing Association to deliver energy efficiency installations to 80 homes across Dumfries and Galloway.

Working in eight locations overall, we installed Dimplex Quantum storage heating and Qrad panel heaters; in four of these, we installed Mitsubishi Ecodan air source heat pump (ASHP) systems, as well as all new radiators and pipework.

The Quantum range of QM storage heaters provide a state of the art, controllable electric heat source; when the heater timer and the temperature are set the heater can be left to automatically maintain heat requirements within this area. The bedrooms and small areas are fitted with Dimplex Qrad panel convector/radiant heater, which have an advanced touch control system offering temperature selection and pre-set programmes to ensure the user has a flexible control facility to suit their lifestyle choice.

Many properties also had a new consumer unit fitted to meet current building standards; with this change, tenants now enjoy a higher level of protection to their electrical circuits.

The energy efficiency improvements installed will afford tenants considerable savings on their utility bills, while helping the association meet the Energy Efficiency Standards for Social Housing (EESSH).

Loreburn Housing Association are delighted with the standard of works and the level and quality of information provided by Everwarm staff at both site and senior management level.
