On behalf of Renfrewshire Council, we successfully delivered a multi-measure pilot programme to one property in Paisley.

We coordinated multiple in-house trades, installing:

• Battery storage
• Solar photovoltaic (PV)
• Removal of gas heating system
• Installation of EcoDan air source heat pump
• Smart radiators
• Cavity wall insulation
• Loft insulation
• Render works
• Roofing
• Rainwater goods
• Ancillary works.

To ensure that the resident could benefit fully from the solar PV installation, the client made battery storage an integral element of the works. A SonnenBatterie Eco storage system was installed, including battery, inverter and energy manager, with a 4kwh battery storage capacity. The system itself is a one-unit module, capable of housing batteries of 4010kwh without the need for an additional unit. On top of this, the system has a remote monitoring capability with an accompanying app available through a direct connection from the battery to the tenant’s router.
